Charbon is a stallion of incredible kindness and loved by all who have met him. He has a long fluid stride, great impulsion and more importantly, passes his qualities on to his offspring. He is on the higher end of the breed standard, at slightly over 16 hands with a beautiful head, nice short back and excellent angles.

He has won numerous first place ribbons in not only conformation but also in Dressage Suitability. He was also the winner of the J.A. Couture 2 yr old colt class. In his debut year (2004) of dressage he consistently scored around the 65 mark also earning a few Reserve Championships in Level 1 at the OADG Dressage Shows.

Charbon has scored 10's in several areas of his classification, for bone, back, temperament to name just a few. His final score was considered "outstanding —rarely seen".
